It has been a while since a new Stripewaves Global Mixtape but prepare yourself for a double release. The first mixtape is made by Morten Mouritzen aka [insert name here] from Copenhagen, Denmark. Morten has been into dub music for many years now at first mainly into the French dubscene but after hearing DMZ on the Roskilde Festival in 2007 he got infected with the Dubstep virus. He started out Dj’ing 15 years ago in a youthclub in his hometown Aalborg (Denmark), and later on became resident at club VIVA. After a long break he picked up Dj’ing again three years ago, mostly for fun, but still receiving the occasional gig invitations.
His 45 minute Stripewaves Global Mix starts out nice and calm but also includes some of the sickest tracks at the moment, so get yourself ready for some nice dubstep violence.

And there is more! Stripewaves Global 03 is mixed by Zsolt Olejnik aka Nicron from Budapest, Hungary. Nicron has been actively working on sound compositions, live performances, radio shows, web designs and applications since 1996. Nowadays he’s working as a senior designer and lead flash developer. In 1998 he founded porousher, which was influenced by minimal and conceptual art besides experimental electronic music. After numerous live-acts and releases, porousher disbaned in 2002 and formed into a netlabel to deal with limited edition cdr releases. Nicron has since curated its content and designated the object of developing sound installations, internet based sound applications, furthermore preparing sound competitions for visitors. this project has been closed in 2007, and Nicron is focusing on his sounds, live sets and radio shows now.
Nicron aims to create such fresh sound compositions that are unique in structural setting up and phonation. He strives for cleared sound shapes and abstract structures and beats within the digital domain in a way, that the product will continue to be able to evoke a reaction from the listener on emotional and intellectual level.
